Storm Update 10-8-16 @ 10:45pm

All,

 Please see the attached hourly graph.  In the rain column you’ll see another 5.5” anticipated between now and 1pm.  At the same time, winds (sustained and gusts) continue to increase (to the upper 30mph range and 50mph respectively).

The attached Tide chart shows a half foot increase with the morning’s 3:04am high tide (5’8”), in the mid-range between moderate and major.  The pedestrian flood gates at Nauticus have been closed in preparation.

 DPW pump station crew working all night and can expand the capability if needed.  Likewise, DPW has the following traffic intersections blocked:

Dominion’s municipal outage viewer shows 26,121 (out of 96,907).  Again, this will increase.
